On your mark. Get set. Go!
I love shoes, and Mama got new running shoes the other day. They are my new favorites. They are so bright and colorful, and they have all sorts of creatures on them like kangaroos and fish. They are the lightest shoes in the house… Even lighter than my little learning to walk shoes that are way smaller.
Mama says that because they are light helps with running and that she needs all the help she can get. I don’t know what she means because she just has to go and keep going while I am in my little jogging stroller machine, but she said something about running being really hard.
All that I know is that I look fabulous in her new shoes and that I am going to work on running next- just as soon as I get that walking thing down completely. After all, it’s just one step, then another, then another, just like working on anything. Marathon runners beware, because training begins… Now.
Awh what a cutie patootie! I love this! Why are they always obsessed with your shoes? Probably because they are your favorites! π Life never stops with all this entertainment! π βΏβΏβΏβΏβΏ

Ha, me either. It is funny because Dorian has a collection by the afternoon every day of everyone else’s shoes. π These are truly her favorites though… I have to hide them some or she is going to wear them out before I can!

I can remember clumping round in my dad’s huge shoes when I was little. It was just so much fun looking down and seeing these big “feet” at the end of my legs and the noise they made on the floor, how I had to concentrate to lift them without them falling off.
A good few years ago now I had to run a bag of rubbish to the top of the drive coz I could hear the bin cart coming along the lane so i slipped my feet into my (then) boyfriend’s shoes to do so. He is size 11 and I am a size 5. I giggled all the way coz it made me feel like a child again π

This is awesome- love it. I did this with shoes too, and your description is spot on with how I felt! Thanks for bringing that memory back. π Also… Too funny about revisiting that as an adult. I so need to do this with my husband’s shoes. *grin*

Will do… Ha! I love feeling like a kid, like when your feet dangle in a really tall chair and you just swing them. π

LOL that happens to me a lot. I’m only 5ft 2 π so sometimes I swing my legs just for the fun of it lol

I am 5’3″…. I most definitely know what you mean there. Sometimes I love being on the short side.

Thanks! Ha– it really does. She takes my shoes so much I have a hard time getting them on. I have to exercise when she is napping. π I just got her new running shoes (the new post I just made is about her getting shoes just like me). Now maybe, just maybe, she won’t steal my shoes quite as much.
