We are on a little trip, and I am sleepy. Mama says that this little stuffed animal is called a “neck pillow.” I have seen it used before, but I can’t quite figure it out. Help, Mama, help. You are a pro at these types of things.
About doriandean
My name is Dorian Annabel. At 5-years-old, I have my hands in everything that I can. I want to see, hear, and smell it all. I don't completely understand the Internet and blogging yet, but Mama says it's another way to see and touch the world, so I'm in.
Since I'm still a little baby, my Mama and Daddy, Amy and Spenser Dean, are helping me to create this blog. My fingers just don't work quite fast enough yet.
🙂 ❤

She is so cute! I love this! I wonder if this is what she thinks! I think so! 😀 you know when my girl got to where I could understand her I found out that was talking to me all the time I just couldn’t understand her lingo! LOL

I think that is true of Dorian– because it is a constant stream of her “talking” but I can’t understand her. I will hear words in that too, so I am sure that she is speaking to me saying a lot of things that I don’t get yet. I am pretty sure, though, that I am usually close to the mark. 🙂 I know my gal pretty well, and I try to capture her personality as closely as I can.

You know what my girl being older now….she never lost that little girl sweet talk. It melts my heart. She looks at me with those eyes and says mommy like she used to and wow there’s nothing like that feeling! Alex used to love a pacifier and would talk with it in her mouth take it out and throw it. So funny! People fret over giving kids pacifiers and such but it never hurt her and she got so much joy from it. I think of all the things I stressed over and to look at her now what a beautiful journey. If I could tell you one thing is cherish each little bitty thing she does because when she’s older those memories will be the stories you tell her and it will bring her so much joy. She now holds her fingers up as to how many times she’s heard the story. Then I say well I won’t tell it if you don’t want me to so she puts another finger up and I tell it again! You have already started such a beautiful blog here she will love reading it! yay for you! 😀

Heehee. The pillow is her older sister’s– but she “stole” it to “use.”

What a great idea! In my blog I post now and then about the sweet perspective of my young grandchildren. I love how you’re speaking directly to us in your granddaughter’s POV. Wonderful.

Thank you so much!! I am glad that you found me, and I love your blog. 🙂 Children often make for the best of focuses- as if we thought even partially like them, the world would be a more positive place. There is not a bit of negativity in her eyes.
